If you look up close you'll see the leaves are ombré, we designed them to start off dark green, then turn purple at the tips. Are they artificial? You bet. They are also UV protected and suitable for use outdoors all year round in all climates. No watering, no pruning. Secure to a planter - place a heavy object at the bottom of your planter (bricks, a cinder block or a sandbag) then bungee cord or tie it to your topiary ball. Alternatively you can add weight to the center of the ball. Bob's your uncle, done.
Secure to the ground - pound landscaping stakes (tent pegs) close to each side of ball. Zip tie the ball to the top of the stake. Fast & simple.
**Assembly
The balls come in halves & need shaping to look perfect. Use a hair dryer to heat balls, the plastic is pliable and you can easily reshape balls if needed. Push out any indentations from shipping while the ball is warm. Fluff the leaves with your fingers. Place one topiary ball half on top of each other carefully matching up fastenings. Our premium balls are designed to be tight so they do not come apart easily. Protip: Use needle nose pliers to pinch together fastenings. Secure with zip ties provided to ensure the balls stay solid and will withstand any weather conditions for many seasons.
